Meh, its a blip on the grand scheme of things.

This announcement essentially has halved the CAPEX for scaling the furnaces.

Corporate Place: approx 2000TPA - scale to 4000TPA

Blue Big: approx 10,000TPA - scale to 20,000TPA

Greenfields Phase 1: approx 30,000TPA - scale to 60,000TPA

Greenfields is also being built to be able to house an additional 35,000TPA for future expansion, that can double to 70,000 TPA. Total potential Greenfields site 130,000TPA!!!!

If this current furance design can essentially double the output with no additional CAPEX. We meet out 150,000TPA with the next build.

2 years ago, Novonix was expecting to spend USD $280,000,000 on furances from Harper International. This figure could significantly be revised, and saving on a fourth site would save the company hundreds of millions to scale to the 2030 production goals.




This is significant news for the company. This background work would also be holding up DoE and grants/loans while we bring together the last few percent of the puzzle.
