Lack of gas in silts is common so nothing to b fazed about, plus the Purni was never the formation of interest.

You'd expect decent gas shows in the sands & hence the interst in the Tirrawarra SST. Another interpretation of thicker Silty formation is the presence of a decent seal. So whatever HC's are below are well trapped as no faults are visible. More about all that on CTP's website.

This is a wildcat & there's always a 50:50 chance of a find or none. Its not a duster as the real deal's being drilled as we speak, an anxious 12-18 hrs of drilling b4 tomorrow's update. If they get good shows, there's always an upside & vice versa (heads or tails i.e.)

One's got to b an optimist to b in the exploration bizness, folks otherwise where r u gonna find the next big discovery to fire up yr w'end bbq cylinders or drive yr v6 Commodores or Chevy trucks.....Mars perhaps. Hmm they've just found ice there, so lets stick to Planet Earth & its oil/gas plays, shall we.
