how all the big miners have said nothing
Strange it seems for none of the big miners to have not said anything. Me thinks everybody is jockeying to jv with AUM.
Think about it, if someone makes a claim that cannot be substantiated, over the medium term the whole industry suffers from lack of investor confidence. Hence, if there was no copper the big miners would have already started marginalising AUM. This has not happened.
Moreover, the cloncurry area is well know to all the miners. There have been large copper finds (Henry) in this area. So why is everyone in the industry keeping sooo quite?
Also note all the negative press has been coming from "Analysts" in newspapers.
