For what it is worth, my take is this. The nomination of say Kamala Harris to the position of US Vice President is mere virtue signalling. Her appointment was about messaging moral correctness - which is straight out of the playbook of the left. Consequently, her approval ratings are simply abysmal and her contributions (or lack thereof), without any experience in foreign affairs on the world stage, is nothing short of an embarrassment.

But our CEO is a woman of substance. I have been fortunate to speak directly with Dr Mautner and judge for myself. Time of course will tell, but Professor Kelly's explanation of her endorsement makes for a compelling case. It does not appear to me to be an equity based decision in any respect.

And Dr Mautner still has Professor Kelly as a sounding board. We are in good hands in my view.
