How is tocilizumab taken?
Tocilizumab is given as a drip (infusion) into the vein. The infusion normally takes one hour and is followed by a period of observation for at least one hour to make sure you don’t have any side effects. Doses are usually given every 4 weeks
With Phenoxodiol (Idronoxil) in an oral formulation it is much easier to manage from a consumer point of view the fact that it may be useful in the early stage means that it could be given orally in susceptible patients to prevent disease progression.
