I don't know much of about the tropicana investment, the general consensus (from comments in the media) , is the asset is overpriced. Time will tell if the funds diverted from the usual dividend payout to the new investment will be good in the long term.
RRL is in the business of selling a product (gold) that has appreciated by 43% in 3 years and yet the SP has dropped by 50%. What happens when the POG actually goes down?
