I am happy that MACA is favouring the competing offer as I would prefer the NRW leadership focus their attention on winning our share of the bigger pipeline of opportunities, putting the right skills in place to deliver the work successfully and improve the margin on this revenue. We have much to do to achieve best practice in terms of margin % on revenue.
These comments should not be interpreted that I mistrust Jules’ judgment on the merits of the target business, it’s just that I’d rather see focus on the work on hand rather than spreading management attention and diluting focus on the current business. The market clearly likes the direction it is heading prior to any knowledge of our intentions with MACA.
