That's because it is traded by the hedge funds through CBA and the other banks. A lot of the trading is just blind algorithmic gyration which exaggerates the tiniest shift in sentiment. Yesterday it slid to 1.035 because it was reacting to brokers who were updating their price targets.
I think there are only about half a million shares which are actively being traded but they are traded half a dozen times by the same bunch of traders daily. The trading volume on NWH is comparable to that of BHP yet BHP has more than ten times the number of shares on issue.
