SteveSage - I'm using the NWH price from the 17th Feb which at $2.80 weights my previous PGX holding slightly towards the new NWH shares (52:48). According to my calcs if you took an indicative NWH issue price of $2.60 (given the stock dropped to $2.32 by the end of day), it works out about 50% against the cash consideration, if you're after an easy split. The cash consideration is treated as a sale (CGT event), the NWH issue is not, until the point where you sell any NWH.

If you've been accumulating PGX over time, it could be advantageous to nominate the earlier purchases towards the cash consideration... assuming NWH isn't falling from here.
