re: Ann: NSE Presentation for Euroz Oil & Gas... While it makes logical sense that the deeper you go, the greater pressure there is, it doesn't transfer to being more economical unfortunately.
It would be much more attractive if the liquids were 500m below the surface wouldn't it!
All in all though, it's better to have pressure within the geological formation, than no pressure. This is one of the things that Beach are trying to emphasise with their Cooper basin acerage....
Further on the pressure side of things, it is worthy to note that NSE appear to have performed further analysis to upgrade the pressure to being "normal-moderately over pressured." This is good news, as previous presentations when comparing different basins always showed the Canning as "normal."
