Was recently in Cooktown for a few weeks and the rumor doing the rounds was that a mining company was looking at purchasing the motel in Cooktown as they were looking to develop a mine up the road. Cooktown to Hopevale isn't far away. Closest town. Would make sense. I wonder if it aligns. We can only hope.
