This deal is interesting. It sounds like NST have basically given KZR a leg up by divesting Ashburton for a token sum. A bit of a mates deal. It’s true that Ashburton is a crumb for NST now, and given Paulsons is in care and maintenance its value to NST is negligible.

NST did extensive drilling (adding significant oz’s at a discover cost of $10 per oz) and plenty of work on the refractory ore.

My feel is that KZR will quickly get Ashburton to over 2mill oz and start feasibility studies. For me the current sage price is almost justified on Ashburton alone.
