I think they would be conscious of the fact that they were just another explorer - albeit one with big backers - and one that hasn't found much of anything to date, and would have wanted to shore up the current inexplicable SP by quickly getting some oz's on the books. Having '1.65 million oz's' in the bag will be invaluable for marketing purposes and investor perceptions, and will buy some more time while they endeavour to get some genuine exploration runs on the board.
