Would the revised tax agreement as identified in your point 1 be applicable to any entity other than SGR in its current structure, specific to SGR perhaps? Other members may be across the finer details, yet to be legislated? There may be some push back politically and from the wider community for favourable tax treatment granted to hardnosed private equity conglomerates. Not sure any of these predators would be agreeable to the employee numbers cap hard wired into the SGR agreement, as released by the media?
As well, would the FIRB recommend to Govt full takeover for SGR, thus the entire ownership of the two former public casinos to be wholly owned by foreign interests?
