Dear Blueice et.al.
Blueice
Best of luck in whatever you park your $ in. I hope all works out for you. Perhaps we will thread somewhere else.

sp manipulation by Fritz ... dunno. For me it comes down to two simple reasons for sp reversal today. These being ...
1. sp breathe out ... I wish every share I own went up 2.99% everyday as BPT did yesterday ... the simple fact is they don't. They ebb and tide with supply and demand. No significant demand today- slightly below average vol traded. Does that mean you dump a stock because of a sp breathe out? ... "NO" I hear greying experienced investors say in unison ... "If that were the case you wouldn't own shares" they say ... "in fact you wouldn't even buy bread as that too varies in price" The old hands mumble with one eyebrough raised above their black rimmed glasses.
2. Opportunity cost for buyers. Today was a real wholesale 'buy - in' signal on ASX. $$$ has been sitting on the sidelines for so long. At some point in time - as in today - buyers feel now is the time. They say... "Let us buy ... WES, BHP, ANZ, CBA or whatever"..."if we buy now they comparitive yield will be better" ... and so less attention is given to stocks like BPT. In days like today BPT will be the bridesmaid. For all BPT's upside and resistance to sub-prime, Basker delivery etc, etc, blah, blah... people, like to have some diversification to their portfolio and most of these are so cheap ATM. Once again, do you dump a stock because others outperform it in a given day. "NO" the wise old investors say with wrinkly suncancered and spotty arms crossed
These are only my simple thoughts. Who knows, maybe there is some manipulation by Hans or some other naughty types. I have seen some pretty bizarre "offers" below "bid" price since dancing with BPT for the last three years but simple economics is good enough for me today.
