It is an issue to promise and not deliver in my books. Elon gets away with it because he is actually Iron Man, but mere mortals, no matter how good their hair is, should deliver as promised, especially to the people who own the company, that's right people, shareholders own the company.
It better be some pretty good news and if it is delayed, advise the reason. It is not that hard.
