Got a response from management today. They stated that they acknowledge the lack of updates regarding the status of the DFS and will look to rectify this - shouldn't really need to ask, but if we get something that shines some light on the current black hole, then that would be a start. They also stated that they see the company in a bit of a holding pattern at the moment as the NT government is in care-taker mode prior to the election....I wasn't tracking that we were waiting on anything from the NT Government, but perhaps construction and other decisions require some government action first?
Regarding the SP movement (or lack there of), I take from the generic comments that they expect the price to continue where it is until finance is sorted (no indication as to how this is progressing as expected - they would be unable to comment), but they did state that they still see the absolute requirement for lithium in industry but it is just being obscured at the moment because of the very high interest levels in gold and Iron Ore. They also seemed a bit bewildered in some of the significant SP increases in some gold stocks that have released below average sampling results....It is just unfortunate that ours was not one of them, although as I said previously, I would rather see some decent investors on board rather than traders or the un-informed that will only dump in the short term.
I will ask that they start to consider the conduct of the AGM - it is looking likely that being able to travel to SA may be difficult (or at least it will be complicated), so I will ask if they can set up an online conference that will make it easier for shareholders to attend under these circumstances.....there should be enough time to organise this if they get onto it early (assuming they don't have the technology now).
Just for info, I didn't ask any questions about exploring our gold potential, as they have stated in announcements that they intend to explore them this year anyway, and I don't expect that they would tell me anything different.
So in summary, perhaps more info to come after the election?
