$1.6m in expenses is normal for a small business. Be it a holdings company, exploration or otherwise.
I expect that the 600k~ worth of legal fees were one-off costs (from the KBC sale). Extrapolating that, $1m in fixed yearly expenses for a listed company that renumerates 4 people, has an office etc is completely reasonable IMO.
