Absolutely… and in the meantime it’s a time trap. You buy into GC1 on the value of the PF and the discount, but just how long might you be stuck there with the very limited number of trades ? It’s all up to Michael and of course it’s a win lose scenario for him there… lose management fees if the fund is wound up, but achieve a significant capital gain. Pity the managers got too smart with their stock picking too late in the process ? A lot of SHs funds went down the drain in the meantime ! An old saying “ too soon old, too late smart !”
