If all of the options are taken up then the fund base will increase from ~$50m to $100m. Hence, the income of the fund managers will at least double. Hence, it is a very big incentive for the fund managers to have a NTA a long way North of $1 before 30-Jun-2017.
After the options have been exercised, then the fund will start paying dividends, commencing on 30-Jun-2017, which is my main objective for investing in this fund. That is, an increase in share price via a premium to NTA is simply a bonus. Perhaps obviously, the other bonus that I am looking forward to is the value of the options closer to 30-Jun-2017. However, if all goes to plan, I will probably exercise my options rather than selling the options before the option expiry date.
