One of Marlin Global's investments, Fook Woo Group Limited ("Fook Woo"), has
voluntarily suspended its trading on the Hong
Kong stock exchange since 28 November 2011. The value of Marlin Global's
holding in Fook Woo has been written down by 80%.
Fook Woo comprises 1% of the portfolio as at the date of this NAV
announcement.
BACKGROUND
Marlin Global Limited ("Marlin") is a listed investment company that invests
in companies based outside of New Zealand and Australia. The investment
portfolio of Marlin is managed by Fisher Funds Management Limited, a
specialist fund manager with a track record of successful investing. Marlin
aims to offer investors competitive returns and access to a diversified
portfolio of investments through a single, investment vehicle. Marlin may
invest in listed international growth companies on any approved stock
exchange (excluding New Zealand or Australia) or unlisted international
companies not incorporated in New Zealand or Australia. The company listed on
the New Zealand Stock Exchange on 1 November 2007.
