Assets - liabilities = equity, and the profits reserve forms part of equity so is already part of the NTA equation.

Gross assets of $83.7m minus borrowings of $22m = NTA of $61.7m. Total shares on issue of $72.9m, hence NTA per share of $0.85 that they have quoted.

Whilst this company pays a great dividend, the share price has gone nowhere since inception hence the returns quoted are purely dividend related. I like a lot of the companies they are currently invested in but for whatever reason the market doesn't. I can't quite put my finger on it which is why I am not yet invested. Perhaps the large stakes they take actually work against them -- that is, not easy to exit positions without taking a hit, or maybe it's the debt levels.
