interesting l don't have an answer for you...
l use AFI (pretty much the index) on occasion to check my portfolio
on LIC's
l have again been looking at PIC, WLE (both track index much smaller) and LSF (outperforming index).
the FF yield on PIC (and cash reserves 2 yrs+) and growing yield on LSE is very attractive. I have held LIC's in the past and a bit fed up with direct holdings atm. (being fed up is a sign to forget about for a while)
l find AFI but like taking a valium but the others a bit more interesting and the yield is very attractive. l have held PGF for a decade + and the performance and yield are exceptional. LSF is showing similar signs PIC LSE are plodders but like AFI ok - my subjective view
