The performance figures assume you are buying continually at the market price but why on earth would you buy at 10% or more premium as was happening not long ago, and happens every few years as shown on the graph in their monthly reports. By buying only during times of sizeable discount, an investor will achieve much better than the quoted mediocre 5 or 6% per annum over the past decade.
