That announcement shows also the problem they have with the small numbers and the statistics for the trial at 26 weeks, and that is the variability in the responses of the individual patients which was reflected in the size of the error bars. The lack of consistency in response between individual patients makes it more difficult to clearly show statistically that the treatment works better than placebo, at least until the placebo effect wears off.
