Translate: Despite claiming compliance, we haven’t done the work. We’re unsure whether our tailings are inert, and disposal could be costly—watch this space.

NTL said:"TFM to make best endeavours to maximise the precious metal recovery rate."
Translate: We skipped our homework and have no clue how much should be recovered—so we’ve asked them to do their best.

NTL said:"Send concentrate samples to a number of New Zealand-based refiners in the first instance to assess the best path to market."
Translate: Despite claiming to have done the math (to get you to give us money) we don’t actually know what’s coming out, whats its worth, or who we’re selling it to—nor whether it’s even economically viable.

NTL said: "Limiting underground activity'.
Translate: We’ve been tinkering with the meccano set, not mining—so we have no real idea of what we’ll be processing.
