NUH have to target the right part of the market that really needs and will benefit from their prodiuct and be prepared to refer clients to othe rproduct. Not just slip their product under clients. The problem comes from clients as some will want the highest cost aide regardless. NUH have a lot of work to do to find niche and sell poroduct and get it to a volume with satisfied clients who then perpetuate sales and re-sales upon replacement.

So will they initially take control with inhouse audeologists or contract it out through a few independents on comission who also have the ability to supply the correct product to clients if NUH isn't suitable. Clients want 1 stop shops. So comission even to independents will ahve to somehow compete with big manufactures comissions unless audeologists can use NUH products to allow HSP clienst to qualify only for theor product. Clients don't pay so it is all about what client needs , what they qualify for and then the suitable products are infront of client and clients choice.

Last point is with many govt supplied programs especially like NHS in UK the product supplied is usually locked to prevent resale and ls often has limited feature set to keep price low and not compete with product in free market. NUH has lots to learn IMO regarduing this market and will be interesting to see what tactics they use to start selling and what results they get.

Agree with all of this. The bit that has been holding them back is brick and mortar style buildings. They want quick online, do it yourself process. Thats not really the current "hearing aid" generation - that generation still want f2f service and trust. This is why they have traditionally tried to scope their market to "mild" hearing loss and a slightly younger demographic.

I actually think they are lost. The HP OEM put another distraction and while that still might come off - it was a pivot to gain traction with sales that currently hasnt worked.

You are right this is their last chance to position themselves correctly
