It is not a "standard" or "check list" appointment, whatever these mean. Clearly you havent looked at her CV or experience. She brings a good set of complimentary skills and experiences to the board. The last thing NUH needs is a "tech head" or "evangelist" type appointment. She brings to the board key factors that they were lacking. This is a big positive for the how the board will function and by extension for the company.
