Don't you reckon HP have enough to do? Why would you not put it in the hands of the most advanced smart bud Co in the world? One you know is going to throw their all into the deal...basically the cutting edge leaders of the tech? Hmmmm...?

Also....who says they have no plans to buy out the Co?,,,,not saying they do...but can't dismiss the possibility (Samsung entered negotiations but walked due to confidentiality issues and Samsung's even bigger than HP...see...thing is you won't know...until you know that is...
