    You obviously have zero understanding of the industry if you think HP is doing something unusual.

    Virtually all design and manufacturing is outsourced in the electronics industry. A huge number of components and products are just rebranded. Even Apple uses OEM Foxconn for all manufacturing and a significant amount of design.

    If the NUH product is a dud (like the previous HP G2 buds) it will just be written off and sold to the wholesale market for a pittance.
