I think in the context it’s simply about taking actions to support efforts to attract investment in the US.

I don't believe the comment is a reflection of the past/current investment interest.
Substantiation:
. No brokers underwrote the latest SPP. (refer announcement 23 December 2022)
. Perennial divested shortly after (refer announcement 31 December 2021)
. Latest SPP "heavily" undersubscribed. approx. $1m raised out of $3m offer (refer announcement dated 24th January 2022)
. Insiders didn’t even take up full SPP allotments (refer announcement dated 27th January 2022)
. Share price around all time lows. (refer to price chart)



Hopefully they can drum up some interest in the US to replace what's been lost here.

I do believe they will...
Substantiation:
. US OTC legislation changes due to be finalised this year,
. Nuheara is preparing to launch a new clinically tested hearing device shortly, (presumably better than previous devices!) and
. US is a bigger market, both for selling devices, and shares to investors.
