Totally agree , my mother in her late 70s is only using her IQbuds for when she is in meetings and at school teaching children reading and music , never used it for listening to music or as a phone ,she only uses the restaurant setting on the IQ buds , her driving is erratic as it is so would not want her to take calls while driving .
The IQ buds have replaced a $6000.00 pair of hearing aids she had on loan but which had too much background noise unlike the IQ buds which mute out background noise on restaurant setting .
Maybe if she went into a Bloom store they could have as you say set it up for her initially as it was 3 weeks after her initial purchase that I did not realize she was unaware of the sync feature which is only accessed via her android smart phone via the 3 lined icon which she had never pressed -mind you nuheara would be better making that icon rather than 3 lines having just "Help" written on it
