Try reading the ann. It helps. We have entered a completely different area of medical need beyond hearing loss. Did you pick up on that? Do you pick up on the fact that NDIS recognition adds to product legitimacy for international markets particularly as it's Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme? Anyway...don't bother they'll be plenty of discussion on the topic ahead I'm sure.

As to the $3000 device what device are you referring to exactly? You talking about Bruutz's little favourite? Siggggh

Smoke and Mirrors you claim? This research started at Curtin when? 2/3 years ago? and has now been independently trialed at Melboune Uni for what about a year? Are you pretending this is an overnight development? Explain your comment "smoke and mirrors" please...or is it just more of your usual narrative?

This is a massive unfolding and one many here have been waiting for a long time. NUH has expanded it's reach beyond hearing impaired profile to the broader medical needs community. We are talking the autism spectrum. Paediatrician's, GP's, Occupational therapists, Psychologists, Special education teachers, Social workers and the like will be drawn to the fore.

    From the ann:

"According to Australian Autism peak body Amaze, Autism continues to be the largest diagnostic group
within the NDIS, with 29% of all participants identifying as autistic.
People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD or Autism) often show difficulties with auditory
processing. Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) is a common secondary diagnosis for people with
    Autism.
Commenting on Nuheara’s listing on the NDIS, Nuheara CEO, Justin Miller said “Since inception, we
have had anecdotal evidence to suggest that Nuheara’s products would support people on the autism
    spectrum.
“Being listed on the NDIS places Nuheara at the centre of hearing health care beyond mild hearing
loss. Our multifunctional products are supporting complex conditions that now allow us to expand to
a much wider market than the traditional hearing aid/device industry.

To our loud repetitive longstanding pedant naysayers...eat your shorts. Holders TU the ann, about time we put out some good news and undo the grinding deluge of the misrepresentaive and unsubstantiated "bear"posters that have done nothing other than spite the Co for reasons beyond their control in recent times.

As stated NDIS is only the Australian face, but we have an international product and it's OZZIE proud. In the UK alone:

    https://www.autism.org.uk/about/what-is/myths-facts-stats.aspx

"Autism is much more common than many people think. There are around 700,000 people on the autism spectrum in the UK – that's more than 1 in 1001. If you include their families, autism is a part of daily life for 2.8 million people.

So you reckon' flicking a few hundred dollars at a pair of Boosts to help your kid with their spectrum issues is going to make any of their families blink? Whether free or paid for? Fact is even if we don't sell a pair through the NDIS, it's the recognition that is the payoff. Further I heard that Govt pays $6K? to children diagnosed by a clinical psychologist for assistive learning? Reckon parents would be happy with their children getting a pair if it mildly helps them in their educational pursuits?

No brother bluey this is a WHOLE NEW BAG.
