I don’t need a hearing device for regular use now, but having worn hearing aids in the past and having also used NUH buds, I would go for the hearing aids for daily use. They are way less bothersome when used for long periods and the tech these days is very good. But hearing aids don’t cut it for music fidelity.
Live listen with the iPhone does work well though, but only in a setting where you can put the phone in one place, so it’s not all that practical.
Given Apple and Beats buds have built in microphones, I do wonder when Apple will increase the functionality of them to use the microphone in the buds to augment hearing. Doesn’t seem a big step to me.
