Apple have the amazing database of live and historic data in regards to client age, apps they use, how often, model product etc etc Not used in direct marketing but so many clients have such data / privacy turned on so apple can exact data points . They know their users better than anyone can understand at minute detail and even search based data by their users in app store leads them to project forward what consumers are wanting / interested in along with ratings of existing apps and devices to know where the niche exists high margin, high satisfaction - ready scaled market.
Very smart operators and few users understand the metrics they can easily discover in database they hold even with it all anonymized and have a amazingly fine detailed global picture all matched with price points and competitors offerings matrix. .
Same old story - do NUH have anything the industry can't achieve in another way or cheaper? Does Apple need NUH / realtek for example ? How big is teh remaining market taht just gets more specialised once apple updates more features and consumer becomes more aware at a low price point
