Securities law is a bit more complicated than that. If any of the escrowed share holders were subject to a freeze of their right to divest escrowed shares then there would be an announcement, either by ASIC or the company itself - after all - that would be material announcement that affects stock price. (Maybe trading in NXL stock would have been halted as well ??)
As of now, there appears to have been no freeze taken place as far as i can tell ...
