Further to my post noting on a different thread that this was not insider trading. But I do have an issue with this latest announcement, I think you cannot have the person who's trading is being called into question ie
be the person that authorises a release saying that the trading is in line with the Security's Policy. It also notes that the Director's trade was in line which is a misdirection, as you are also the CEO in authorising the release of your own innocence. And as you are the Senior most person in the release of CEO, CFO and COO, is it unlikely the CFO and COO are going to say no. It should have at least been authorised by Group Legal Counsel or the Chairman.
