As long as you bought IVV on the ASX (asx:ivv) then you don't need to worry about US tax period.

Also the dividend is actually a distribution but all financial sites still mention it as a dividend.

Blackrock sends a tax statement each year for the distributions which I use to fill in my return. There is mention about foreign income (which is the US income) in this statement.

I have held this for a few years already and quite happy I did. But I do think sp500 is going into overvalued territory.
