Absolutely agree Burty. BlockEnergy was a price sensitive announcement therefore Novonix shareholders deserve an update especially if the project is dead in the water.
This was from Feb 2025, relating to the cancelled Lakeland project that was given the go ahead in 2023.
“Assistant City Attorney Ramona Sirianni told city commissioners Friday morning during an agenda study that BlockEnergy, which was supplying the solar equipment, notified the city in late January that it was seeking to wind down all of its business operations, including its project with the city”.
Emera’s Q4 & 2024 annual conference call transcript discloses the $26m wind-down & asset impairment for Block Energy.
Scott Balfour (Emera CEO) gives an explanation (page 20).

There is no further mention of BlockEnergy in their (Emera) Sustainability & Climate reports either.
