The delay to Xanadu is not new news.
It was posted here over a month ago that the Dept had new personel who wanted new information to be submitted that has never been requested before ..... therefore the evidence may not be readily available to submit.
Not NWE's fault but it is NWE's problem.
NWE has been plagued by the beaurocracy from the holdup with the fraccing of Arrowsmith and now this.
Government departments have a responsibility to all stake holders in these situations .... not just those with a particular bent. Companies have a life span too and that can be seriously threatened by insensitive bureaucratic intransigence.
Someone somewhere needs to due a review of the requirements and some realistic decisions made.
