what about state gas buying teg thereby initiating an effective 33.34 pct buyback at a huge discount!
thats what i would do and stategas shareholders wiuld love it !
they can then flog off the teg oil assets in a trade sale !!
cheap as for the net outcome
teg is way underpriced based on its stategas holding
i reckon the board is waiting for the next prove up in the dome- see thT the sandstone gas flow was unexpected and so strong they had to pump in more mud for safety reasons on the drill site - unexpected but a real boon for the resource prospectivity !
teg a great backdoor entry to state irregardless of its oil assets
i bought a few - actually quite a few today at not the best price as under 5.7 seemed ridiculous at the time but im happy
ill buy more under 5.3 if thats presented
