That’s interesting dmatoo! Are you saying they used to own the properties but sold them?
If so I agree - it seems strategically incompetent ( on the basis land and rent seem to always appreciate in value if for no other reason ).
If they used to own the properties do you know when they were sold ?
As to the fact you say the Heat Treatment and proprietary equipment were among the most profitable parts of the business I was wondering about future potential and growth possibilities.
I own quite a large holding of worthless RCR shares but fortunately I also hold NRW and the potential for some components of RCR to continue to ‘work for me’ after all makes me very grateful to NRW .
It’s a good company and the CFO there was CFO at RCR for more than 3 years until late 2013 so I guess he knew what he was doing in targeting good areas of RCR .
But the price does seem very cheap and I know there are other cashed up mining/infrastructure businesses out there and I wonder why they didb’t come in with higher bids .
Anyway you obviously know RCR .... it is good to meet you!
