Best Dampier Mining drill hole was 21m @ 0.18% Cu with no increase in Cu grade once out of oxide mineralization, be still my beating heart!
Just road-base/waste back in 1975, and unsurprisingly - no one has been in a rush to go out and do any follow-up on this work at those grades....
Some of the surrounding Carbonate sequences might have some pretty decent Ag Pb Zn potential judging by the previous explorer's results, no one has ever seemed to follow that up, so these guys should be ignoring the low-grade Cu oxides and seeing if there is anything worth following up in the Limestones/Carbonate hosted Ag Pb Zn areas.
