There are a lot of defence applications for tungsten, some exist in the more traditional roles like the ones mentioned by Jeffro1990 and others are a bit more exotic like unique tools for cutting in the aviation and rocketry domains as well as tungsten oxide films for semiconductor chips. Hopefully the US looks to Australia, G6M in particular, for both defence supply chains and critical mineral stockpile replenishment!
