To get to production, the steps are Proof of concept (POC), prototype, pilot, production. The previous owners of the kit apparently skipped the pilot and tried to go straight to production. Contrary to what it says in the MNS announcement, other reports say they had a full order book but could not make the jump to a full production line. They had done POC, and prototype, but then went too hard. It seems C4V and MNS have done the POC, so this buy will move them to the prototype stage. Questions to answer: can they produce the magic bone powder (patented) to a consistent quality and can they produce it in quantity. Regardless, this is not going to be a Giga Tesla type factory, but maybe they can build a niche producer. Less revenue. In Townsville they could try to do a deal with QUT. They have kit, and are at pilot stage, though small size I guess.
