    Good find there - reads like they increased the cut-off grade which chopped off some tonnes but the talc and pyrrhotite seem to be the problem, I think it's not mentioned specifically but the front loading of the mine schedule with a lot of Lead-Zinc ore without much copper ore feed in 2019 would have made it unattractive as lead and zinc prices weren't so great then. Localized talc can always be blended out by swamping the ore feed with non-talc ore feed i.e. blending ore feeds so i'm wondering how representative the Met test samples were in the 2018-2019 studies and if the talcose and or pyrrhotite content was over-represented in the Met samples given to Ammtec?

    Possibly at that stage the Federation Project might have looked better and they didn't have the time and resources to do DFS's on Federation and Nymagee, so might have been looking for excuses to park Nymagee so they could concentrate all their DFS efforts on Federation. Obviously, Covid and then inflationary forces intervened from 2020 onwards.
