They are checking the rat results Nyrada got, by giving the same dose to rats over there.

And - Nyrada is paying them to do so.
There's no funding coming at all.
In fact if you go to Walter Reeds own site - Nyrada doesn't even come up in a search.
The only 3 places this rat trial is even mentioned is on Nyrada website, HotCopper or the companies brokers.
All link to the press release saying exactly that in March and April - the only thing changing is the 'Phase 1 trial start date' - now put back again.
They are shooting up rats with the drug.
That's it.
And Nyrada are paying them.

If you have got a link to a Walter Reed doc stating they are funding Nyrada - I'd love to see it please.
Honestly, so many people dived into the pump on the back of a small rodent trial, that I'm amazed anyone thinks the dump will be any less spectacular.
