I'm not too concerned around being first to market. There will be many more competitors in a few years anyway (that's if Merck even succeeds). And by that time we'll have sold our compound after Ph1 and be on to something new. Evey single listed company has competition somewhere. And yes it's a race, but other pharma will want a piece of the action too.
