    The goose isn't dead, we still own half of it and the eggs it produces. We now have money to buy another goose to breed with it. The goose we're going to breed it with has genes which promote the laying of giant gold eggs through a suitably sized orifice. I'm OK with this fairy tale at the moment, hopefully it doesn't turn out to be one...
