No. I have never seen one fall through. I too missed the Kangaroo takeover (25% return for 4 months) as i thought ASX WEC would scupper the deal through the SK courts
Another company where there was a good arbitrage was Sirtex. 13% return for 4 months after the HK hedge fund bid
Personally i think this deal is the best risk/reward payoff out there until midyear. When was the last Scheme of Arrangement to fail, without prior warning of concerns?
